I'll leave B in the car whilst I pay for petrol, but not otherwise - I'm terrified of the stories of cars being stolen with kids inside.
I never think about not having B with me - unless I have arranged a babysitter, he is with me - that's just how it is.
Perhaps this will change if our family grows, but I don't think so.
