No crib for a bed
We went to a carol service last night, and Linnea said afterwards "I want to go to one of Nicky's things again, but only if they don't sing." So. She also didn't like the acerbic humour of the adult male interviewer for the children's costume parade; "And what are you?" - "Batman," - "You ask your parents where THAT is in the Bible!" It was just a bit diggish. So she cried and wouldn't go up to the stage, but that was ok.
But it was all so strange and exciting that she didn't get to sleep until after 11 pm. Then at nine this morning I dressed her in her sleep and carried her to the buggy and then put Emer in a fleece sleepsuit and the mei tai and carried her in front of me zipped into my coat. I was the first person to arrive at the BfN supervision session so I took out the bread rolls I baked yesterday and fed the kids.
Emer actually asked to go into the créche for the first time ever.
At home later we tidied and Sandra came and helped clean and then she and I had a cup of tea and some cake and after she left I mixed up some more bread dough.
